It was the 80s and chef-restaurateur Hans Röckenwagner had just opened his first restaurant in LA. He wanted to serve bread, but knew the only way to ensure he could serve a product he was proud of, was by making his own. He started by making loaves of brioche to serve his loyal fine-dining patrons. Today, Hans & his innovative team offer over hundreds of different artisan breads, pretzels, pastries and more, thoughtfully handmade in Los Angeles.
