Yellow was always going to be great; I knew that before I attended. Yellow is my favorite color and being surrounded by 200+ creative, beautiful and talented women was going to be inspiring.
I was not disappointed! Through Yellow FB group I had already connected with Dayna from THE GILDED WICK and we carpooled together which made the journey and 2 days even better.
The speakers were all amazing but each one brought a different kind of inspiration. The best part was they didn’t gloss over the TRUTH of how they started or who they were. More often than not people assume that starting a business and having success comes naturally or is easy. My opinion is yes it may seem that way from the outside looking in, but honestly being a business owner is a lot of responsibility especially if you hire staff.
The conference audience was made up of 4 types of women. You could be one of them or all of them and in the afternoon there were special workshops with breakout sessions tailored to each type.
• The Activist
• The Solopreneur
• The Leader
• The Starter

I attended Krysta Masciale – your guide to goal domination
Read more here.
Krysta is a force of nature and some of her best advice was around setting tangible goals and not too far in the future.
Krysta’s style is no nonsense, she doesn’t believe you should change who you are to be successful, she inspires you to be confident and strong and believe in yourself. If you enjoy working and people tell you that you work too much, just ignore them, you don’t need a better work life balance just because someone is projecting their boundaries and beliefs onto you.
The Yellow Conference is a gathering for creative women who desire to ignite passion and bring goodness to the world through everyday living. L.A. native, Joanna Waterfall, started the conference out of a vision for inspiring and equipping creative women to do good in the world.
